Personally I would have said that something other than black and white would have been better for time of day the photo was done. The contrast is very sharp, however it also allows for all the details to be seen very clearly. Your use of a panaroma shot was very well chosen and proportionately stretches out the photo to include a nice foreground as well as the whole background that you wanted to include. At first I thought this was the San Francisco bridge, lol. Personal preferences aside there is a cleanliness to the whole shot that you captured between your lighting, exposure, etc. as well as the color of the shot. I do love the clarity of the photo.
